Principle features
The PD 416 is a normally open, two-position, four-way directional valve with port 5 pilot controlled spool reversal. When pressure is applied to port 5, the spool is reversed. Normally, ports 3 and 4 are connected, ports 2 and 1 are connected, and all ports are connected when the spool is reversed. When the spool is fully reversed oil ports 3 and 2 are connected and oil ports 4 and 1 are connected. The spring chamber is connected to port 1.
