Principle features
In the neutral position (no hydraulic control), PD 116 cuts off the flow of oil from ③ to ② in both directions. v is the atmospheric drain hole of the spring chamber, and its internal O-ring seal prevents the oil from leaking out of the plug-in flow path. When the remote hydraulic control signal reaches ①, the spool moves and the flow from ② to ③ is turned on in both directions. Since a spring chamber with an oil drain hole is used, the insert can be fully pressurized at any oil port without affecting the desired hydraulic control pressure.
