Principle features
PC 312 allows the oil to flow from ① to ②, and at the same time cuts off the flow of oil in the opposite direction. When the pressure at ③ is high enough, the oil overcomes the spring pressure and pushes the spool open, and the oil will flow from ① to ②. The check valve has a hydraulic ratio of 1.8:1, which means that in order to open the valve at ③, the load pressure at ② must be maintained at least 1/1.8. Spring pressure ensures that the valve port is closed in static or unloaded conditions. A hydraulically sealed piston option is available.
