Principle features
The PC 212 allows the oil to flow from ② to ①, and at the same time stops the oil from flowing in the opposite direction. When the pressure at ③ is high enough, the fluid overcomes the spring pressure and pushes the spool open, and the fluid flows from ① to ②. The check valve has a hydraulic ratio of 3:1, which means that in order to open the valve at ③, at least 1/3 of the load pressure must be maintained at ①. Spring pressure ensures that the valve port is closed in static or unloaded conditions. A hydraulically sealed piston option is available.
