PS 308 type, in steady state, oil flows from ① to ② closed, and the spring chamber drains oil from ③. When the pressure at ① reaches the preset value of the valve, the spool moves and oil flows from ① to ②. The back pressure at the oil port ③ will be added to the pressure setting value.
