Principle features

Model FC 116, flow from ③ is maintained constant and is not affected by changes in load pressure in downstream circuit ③ or bypass ②. The spool maintains a pressure difference of 6.5 bar (95 psi) in the inner fixed orifice to regulate the flow from ① to ③. The FC 116 is a priority regulating type, which delivers the pump flow to ③ first, and then to ② via the bypass, so that all ports can be fully pressurized. Depending on the inlet volume, the volume of oil coming out of the priority port ③ may vary, especially when the temperature decreases and the viscosity of the flow increases, and the setting may need to be studied to decide.
