Principle features
Model LC 112, flow is normally allowed between 4 and 3. When the pilot pressure at 1 rises above the combined pressure of the spring bias plus the pressure at 4, the valve switches to block flow between 3 and 4 while diverting flow from 1 to 2. When installed and guided according to the diagram above, the fixed (or variable) throttle orifice upstream of 4 maintains a constant pressure drop. In this case, flow priority is 3 and flow in excess of the differential pressure requirement of the throttle orifice is bypassed to 2.
