Principle features
The LCC 216 type is a spring-seated valve that cuts off the flow of oil from ① to ② or from ② to ① until the pressure at ① or ② exceeds the total pressure at ③ (plus the spring pressure), then the spool opens. When there is no pressure at ③, the oil will flow from ① to ② or from ② to ① once the spring pressure exceeds the pressure at ① or ②. When the element is in the closed state, the pressure ratio between ① and ② is 1:1, and the pressure ratio between ① or ② and ③ is 1:2.
