Principle features
PR 108 type, in steady state, allows oil to flow in both directions from ② to ① while the spring chamber is kept at the port ③ to drain the oil. When the pressure at ① reaches the preset value of the valve, the spool moves to close ②, thus regulating the pressure at ①. In this mode, oil can also be drained from ① to ③ when the variable exceeds the setting value of pressure reduction. Note: The direct-acting PR 108 series valves are not suitable for some static load applications.
