For the RDDA LXN type, flow from ① to ② is closed under normal conditions until sufficient hydraulic pressure is applied to ① to overcome the spring force and cause the spool to leave the valve seat. Note: The RDDA LXN type can be used as a cross relief valve (when back pressure is applied at ②).
