For RDBA LXN type, ① flows to ② under normal conditions and is blocked until sufficient hydraulic pressure is applied to ① to overcome the spring force and allow the spool to leave the valve seat. Note: The RDBA LXN model can be used as a cross relief valve (when back pressure is applied at ②).
